Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings
All bookings are made through our partner platform Bokun.io. By completing a booking you agree to the terms set out by both northernlightstours.is and Bokun.io. A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation email.
2. Cancellation & Refunds
Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the tour start time for most tours. Cancellations within 24 hours may not be eligible for a refund. Specific cancellation terms are stated on each tour's booking page.
3. Tour Changes
We reserve the right to modify or cancel tours due to severe weather conditions, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or a rebooking at no extra charge.
4. Weather & Aurora
Iceland's weather is unpredictable. We cannot guarantee aurora sightings or specific weather conditions. If a tour runs as scheduled, no refund is issued due to weather or aurora activity (or lack thereof), unless the tour is cancelled by us.
5. Safety
All participants must follow the instructions of their guide at all times. We reserve the right to exclude any person from a tour who poses a safety risk to themselves or others. No refund will be issued in such cases.
6. Liability
northernlightstours.is and its guides are not liable for personal injury, loss of property, or any indirect damages arising from participation in tours, except where required by Icelandic law.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Any disputes shall be resolved in Icelandic courts.
